I am pleased to announce I have a website up and running…
NowDeb.com
This is where I am talking about our work for the Kingdom and I have started food blogging trying to generate a side income for when we are serving in the field again.
I am hoping this website will help us stay in contact better. Many told me their email provider sent these updates right to the spam folder. The statistics told me only about 40% are getting delivered. That meant 60% of people on our team were not getting updates. I feel prayer coverage and support are crucial during this conversion time. So I began to set things up now rather than waiting until we are back serving in another country again because as you guys know, it gets hectic.
I will be posting at NowDeb.com/serves midday every Friday. Each week sharing a little something about the past, the present, or the future. How God has worked, is working, and will work, in and through us. You will still get this email every week but it will start to look a little different. There are now links on the bottom to the last few posts, and links to like and share on your social media pages. Which I would appreciate you doing, hoping it is easy and fast for you.
I will still be using Mailchimp to send out other things too. For example, I am almost ready to publish the Much Love (Mexico) cookbook sharing 12 baked goods I made for the ladies who came over for coffee, along with 12 short stories about when I used each recipe. Also in the works is a demonstration night so you can taste some of these goodies without having to actually bake anything. An invitation to the event will be sent out through Mailchimp.
I have been sharing recipes at NowDeb.com/eats and eventually will be selling meal plans for singles at NowDeb.com/plans. Have a look around and maybe make something new for dinner tonight.
Oh, one last thing I wanted to share with you. The logo for the website. Becca Kram created this {find her on Instagram or see her professional portfolio here}. She came with all kinds of ideas and was just a pleasure to work with. Should you need any digital design work done, consider talking with her. Becca really helped me convey the idea behind NowDeb.com; incorporating Jesus and cooking. I asked her to use a triangle because I took a class a few years ago to memorize scripture by turning words into pictures. My picture for God is a triangle. So the triangle with the cooking hat, I hope, incorporates everything going on at NowDeb.com.
Please have a look around the website and let me know what you think. Email me at Deb@NowDeb.com and let me know if you expected to see something and didn’t, or if you want more information on a page or topic. Thank you guys for your prayers, I am excited for what God has going on and am looking forward to serving alongside you in the future. Chat with you next week.
Blessings peeps,
Deb
